Marisol Green

Marisol Green, also known as Mari, has a wide range of musical talents, including opera and musical theatre. As an honorary board member of the Boston based Opera Company “Opera UnMet”, she developed her passion and expertise in writing and producing shows and workshops that are socially relevant to a multi-cultural society. Mari is a native of the Pocono Mountain region in Pennsylvania. She graduated from Stroudsburg High School and received her classical training and degree from the prestigious Boston Conservatory - College of Music, Dance, and Theater.

Recordings

Mari’s first album with the Opera UnMet Company, was called Ties That Bind, a Martin Luther King Day Celebration”. This studio recording celebrates Martin Luther King with classical music, Negro Spirituals, and poetry by Langston Hughes. She has also performed on a Classical Smooth Jazz album which became a number one top requested independent album in London, England. And finally, Mari has also performed on the "Hunterdon Hills Chrismas Album".
